A heritage 1865 bluestone country hotel on Albyn Terrace, Strathalbyn, with an award-winning bistro and a wide verandah looking over the river park.

On Albyn Terrace

The Victoria Hotel has stood on Albyn Terrace in Strathalbyn since 1865, opposite the Soldiers Memorial Gardens and a few minutes' walk from St Andrew's Church. The two-storey bluestone facade with its wrap-around verandah is one of the iconic country pub buildings on the Fleurieu.

The bistro

The in-house bistro has built a steady reputation as one of the better country-pub kitchens in the region, with a menu that goes beyond the standard parma-and-schnitzel template - regular daily specials built around local produce, well-cooked steaks, and a proper dessert list.

The pub itself

Front bar still functions as the local public bar, with the dining room on the side. Live music regularly through summer.
